Michael P Goodman MD is an internationally renowned authority in female aesthetic genital surgery and has been practicing women's healthcare since finishing his OB/GYN residency at Stanford University in 1972. Since 1988, he has devoted his career to Women's Interactive Health and emerged as a pioneer in the development and advancement of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and vulvovaginal plastic and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Goodman is a NAMS-Certified Menopause Practitioner, an ISCD-Certified Clinical Bone Densiometrist, an Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. He is peer-reviewer for the Journal of Sexual Medicine, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Research, British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reviewer Emeritus for the Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery and has contributed many articles to the literature on the subjects of female genital plastic/cosmetic surgery, body image and sexuality, operative laparoscopy (including Risk Management), menopausal medicine, and family-centered maternity care. Dr. Goodman is the Editor of the Wiley-Blackwell textbook, "Female Genital Plastic/Aesthetic Surgery," and the author of three popular books, "The Midlife Bible, A Women's Survival Guide," "MEN-opause: The Book for Men," and "You Want to do WHAT? WHERE?? All You Ever Wanted to Know About Women's Genital Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery." He teaches Masters Preceptorships in female genital plastic/aesthetics surgery and has taught students from around the United States and several foreign countries. Dr. Goodman is Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at California Northstate University School of Medicine and Senior Faculty at the European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.
