Dr Nikolaos Maltzaris is Faculty of the Department of Aesthetic Medicine at ECAMS. With a background in plastic and aesthetic surgery, he brings a unique perspective to non-surgical training, combining surgical precision with innovative approaches in injectables and regenerative medicine. He specialises in ozone therapy, energy-based device treatments, IV therapy and body injectables, offering delegates a broader and more integrated understanding of aesthetic medicine.

As part of the ECAMS faculty, Dr Maltzaris helps delegates expand their skillset beyond standard techniques, blending surgical insight with advanced injectable protocols to ensure safe, effective, and innovative treatment outcomes.
Dr. Nikolaos Maltzaris studied at the School of Medicine of the University of Naples, Italy, where upon his graduation and after the presentation of his diploma , he was awarded “Doctor of Medicine and Surgery” in 2003.
He completed his specialization in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Anti-Cancer Oncology Hospital “Agios Savvas”. He was introduced to the art of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic surgery where he gained valuable knowledge and experience. In particular, he specialized in a wide range of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of the face and breast, as well as in newer techniques of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
His scientific work includes numerous publications and papers in foreign language medical journals and announcements at Greek and international conferences. He was honored with a six-month scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, which he took advantage of while continuing his training at the United Kingdom Hospital in Newcastle at the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Royal Victoria Infirmary NHS on the newest developments and techniques of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Nikolaos Maltzaris regularly attends the annual international conferences and participates in many working groups and seminars with the latest developments and techniques in plastic surgery. His passion for science, his interest in research and development, his erudition are key principles. His goal is to offer  high-level services, with excellent training, a professional approach, honesty in his relationship with the patient, with the aim of protecting his health. He is a regular member of the Hellenic Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Lover of philosophy, history and music. His favorite hobby is swimming and diving.
