Dr. Omar Orsini, a fully trained Plastic, Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgeon, brings over two decades of surgical experience, having graduated from the University of Los Andes, Venezuela, and completed advanced specialist training across leading institutions in Caracas, São Paulo, and New York.

His background spans reconstructive surgery, aesthetic facial procedures, and breast surgery, complemented by international exposure and continuous professional development through globally recognised societies including ISAPS and ASPS.

To further elevate his expertise in aesthetic facial surgery, Dr. Orsini undertook the Fellowship in Aesthetic Facial Surgery at ECAMS—an internationally recognised, structured, and competency-based programme designed for doctors committed to achieving the highest standards in aesthetic practice.

Unlike short-term courses, the ECAMS Fellowship follows a rigorous, progressive pathway that integrates theoretical knowledge, hands-on surgical training, and continuous assessment. As part of this journey, Dr. Orsini successfully completed advanced modules including:

  • Blepharoplasty & Browlift (cadaveric dissection and live patient training)
  • Face & Neck Lift Surgery (cadaveric dissection and live surgical training)
  • M28b Regenerative Medicine: Biologic Facelift with fat-derived biologics, PRP & exosomes

Each module required pre-course preparation through structured e-learning and assessments to ensure strong anatomical and clinical foundations before hands-on participation. During practical training, his surgical skills were directly evaluated by expert faculty through objective, competency-based assessments.

Beyond course completion, Dr. Orsini progressed through supervised clinical mentoring, followed by the submission of documented case logbooks demonstrating safe and effective application in real clinical practice. Only after successfully passing final assessments was he awarded the title of Fellow of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery (FECAMS).

This title reflects not just participation, but verified competence through a structured pathway involving progressive training, mentorship, and multi-level evaluation—setting it apart from conventional certifications.

Today, Dr. Orsini represents a new generation of surgeons who combine a strong reconstructive foundation with advanced, evidence-based aesthetic facial surgery—delivering results grounded in anatomy, safety, and long-term patient outcomes.

In recognition of his surgical expertise and commitment to advancing aesthetic education, Dr Orsini has been appointed as Assistant Faculty at ECAMS, contributing to the training and education of the next generation of aesthetic surgeons. His role within the ECAMS Faculty Pathway reflects not only his clinical excellence but his dedication to maintaining and elevating standards across the field.
