We make every effort to ensure that details about our products and services and any other information on our website are up to date. However, where information is incorrect or is subject to change, we reserve the right to withdraw or substitute the product or service and to cancel any outstanding orders or bookings with notice to you.
3. General
ECAMS develop, distribute, maintain and manage your account and products where necessary.
You shall not copy, modify, transmit, distribute, sell or in any way exploit the materials and products or any other copyrighted materials provided other than for your individual training. Any other purpose is expressly prohibited under these terms. You shall also not permit anyone else to copy, use, modify, transmit, distribute or in any way exploit the Products or any other copyrighted materials.
We provide the materials ‘as is’ and without any warranties, whether express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under statute. We also do not warrant that the materials will be error free, including technical inaccuracies.
4. Grant of Licence
In consideration of your payment, we hereby grant you a licence to use the purchased eLearning courses (“the Products”). This licence is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable, and is subject to the rights and obligations granted under these Terms.
This licence is strictly for your personal training and cannot be shared or exchanged with others.
5. Access
The start date of your personal access is deemed to be the date of your purchase. We will take all reasonable steps to provide you with uninterrupted access to materials and/or products. However, your access may be restricted from time to time for reasons beyond our control. These may include power outages, interruption due to software issues, server downtime, increased in internet traffic, programming errors, regulate updates and maintenance, other locations acting outside the law such as computer hackers and other related reasons. Where this is the case, we will take reasonable steps to restore your access within a reasonable time period.
Our aims is to provide courses, materials and products of the highest quality and as such, improvement and/or changes to the courses, materials and products may focus at any time without prior notification in order to ensure that they are up to date and accurate.
6. Pricing and Payment
Registration prices are shown in EUR. It is always possible that, despite our best efforts to ensure prices are up to date and correct, errors may occur and in this case, you will be contacted with confirmation of the correct price before your order is completed. We reserve our right to review and change the pricing of any of our products.
We accept most major credit/debit cards for online orders. If your payment method selection is by credit card, you will be transferred to a 3rd party payment gateway where you will be asked to enter your card details and the name of the cardholder. ECAMS does not store or process your payment. If you have not received a confirmation email, you should not assume that the order has been processed. We recommend that you do not send cash through the post.
7. Online modules
All courses purchased individually will not be entitled to be used as credits to offset your hands-on courses unless you register for the hands on course within 30 days from date of purchase of online module(s) . Registration of hands-on courses after purchasing the online courses after 30 days (of the same or different series), the full price of the hands-on course will apply as stated on our website at the time of registering for the hands on course. Online modules and videos can only provide valuable theoretical knowledge, hands-on training is required for gaining practical skills and expertise, to be able carry out learned online material , especially in fields that involve procedures or technical tasks.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Where online courses, materials and/or products are delivered to you immediately, you will not have the right to change your mind. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet the system requirements, including compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment and Internet service, prior to purchasing any content. We are unable to provide refunds where your access to the Products is inhibited due to insufficient system requirements.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title and interest in intellectual property rights relating to the Products including copyright, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, improvements, developments, proprietary information, know-how, processes, methods, business plans or models (including computer software and preparatory and design materials thereof) and all other intellectual property (whether registered or not) developed or created from time to time shall exclusively be owned by European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery, also known as ECAMS. While you may utilise the intellectual property, you understand that there shall be no transfer of ownership of the same.
Nothing that you see or read in the our courses, materials and/or products may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, transmitted, republished, displayed or performed for commercial use.
All other trademarks, service marks and trade names in this material are the marks of the respective owners and any unauthorised use is prohibited.
10. Personal Data
Whilst using our website or services, you may be required to provide personal information (name, address, email, account details, etc.). We will use this information to administer our website, applications, client databases and marketing material. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as adopted into law of Ireland in the Data Protection Act 2018.
ECAMS Hands on Courses

3. Our contract with you
When you sign and submit an order for a product and/or services to us, this does not mean we have secured a place or accepted your order. Our acceptance of the order will take place when we issue you with a written confirmation email or when full payment is received at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

5. Registration Cancellation Condition & Policy
Cancellation must be notified in writing by email uniquely to: info@ecamedicine.com
Course date after 1st June 2020:
– Until 2 months before the Course date: 50% processing fees on the total registration.
– Cancellation requests received less than 2 months before the congress: there will be no refund.
For the purpose of this cancellation policy, the relevant dates shall be fixed by reference to the originally scheduled date of the Course and not any newly scheduled opening date of the Course that has been changed as a result of the force majeure conditions below.
– If due to unforeseen circumstances, cancellation is requested from your side, and it is less than 2 months before the course date, please note that there will be no refund and your course fee cannot be carried over to the next course.
Course date before 31st May 2020:
– No refund.
“FORCE MAJEURE”
ECAMS shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event the training is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed OR changed in another format as a result of a “Force Majeure” event beyond its reasonable control or inadequate number of participants. For the purposes of this clause, Force Majeure events shall include, but not limited to, general and labor strikes, invasions, hostilities, war, rioting or similar situations, acts of government or state* such as lockdown and quarantine measures, immigration and transport restrictions, and acts of nature such as fires, floods, extreme weather or other emergency.
In all cases, if there is a possibility of refunds, it will be subject to a minimum deduction equal to 20% of the booking charges by way of a processing fee.

8. Postage and delivery
Where ceritifcate postage is applicable, the price quoted includes the cost of postage to your address. We use standard second-class post in Ireland and standard anpost mail overseas. We do not send certificate by courier or other non-standard postal method. Any additional postal costs will be clearly specified via email before the product is posted.

10. Limitation of liability

A – If ECAMS determines that the training needs to be cancelled as a result of a Force Majeure event or inadequate number of participants, ECAMS refund policy shall follow clause 5.
B – If ECAMS determines that the training needs to be rescheduled or postponed as a result of a Force Majeure event or inadequate number of participants, registration remains binding and participant will be entitled to participate to the rescheduled training without any further refund right.
ECAMS shall assume no further obligation to refund any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by the participant in case the event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed as a result of a Force Majeure event or inadequate number of participants.
C – In case the training format switches from hybrid (onsite & online) to virtual (online only), and within the deadline of November 30, 2020, the registered space will be automatically switched from physical to virtual/hybrid.
GOVERNING LAW: the construction, validity and performance of the present terms are exclusively governed by the laws of Ireland without reference or regard to principles of conflicts in law. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, located in Dublin.
*government or state means both “Ireland and the country where the concerned training is held”
ECAMS Membership
By signing this Membership Application Form, the member agrees to comply with ECAMS Terms and Conditions of Membership.
- Definition
In these terms and conditions, the words below shall bear the following meanings:
“Logo” means ECAMS membership logo.
“Member” means any individual or organization which is a registered member of ECAMS under one of the membership categories, and “Membership” shall be construed accordingly.
“Website” means www.ecamedicine.com
2. Membership Application
All applications for Membership are to be made by completing the application form on the Website. By submitting an application for Membership to ECAMS, the applicant is deemed to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions and that all information submitted to ECAMS is complete, accurate, and up to date.
To complete a Membership application, the applicant must make payment of the applicable Membership fee stated in ECAMS Website. ECAMS shall not be obliged to process a Membership application until payment of the applicable Membership fee is received by ECAMS.
ECAMS will assess each application based on the Membership Eligibility Guidelines.
ECAMS reserves the right at all times and in its absolute discretion to determine the number of Members in ECAMS and may accept or reject Membership applications at its discretion.
3. Membership Benefits, Conduct
Members may enjoy the applicable Membership benefits listed on the Website. Such Membership benefits may be updated or modified by ECAMS from time to time.
All Members are expected to upholding the highest standards of practice in conducting their affairs with the funders, beneficiaries, charities, and social enterprises they work with, governmental authorities, other stakeholders in their organization and in the community at large.
All Members shall conduct their activities with transparency, responsiveness, honesty, and fairness.
All Members shall, amongst other things:
comply with all applicable legal requirements in Ireland;
practice and promote ethical behavior;
not use ECAMS corporate logo unless permitted by ECAMS;
not misrepresent its relationship with ECAMS;
not disclose any confidential or private information; and/or
not malign, defame, or unfairly criticize another Member.
4. Membership Categories:
ECAMS offers different categories of membership which are set out on our website. Your choice of category on joining will determine the fees payable. You may change your membership category in accordance with the membership parameters stated on our website.
Membership fees for each Membership category are stated on the Website and are payable monthly or annually. ECAMS may review the Membership fees from time to time and reserves the right to adjust the Membership fees where it is considered necessary
5. Membership Duration:
When you join ECAMS you are agreeing to remain a member for the Commitment Period. This is a license for a single user.
Your membership commences as soon as you have registered as a member on the Site. Membership is valid for 12 months (the Annual term) and will automatically renew each year on the anniversary of registration unless your membership is terminated in accordance with these terms.
If you choose to pay your membership fees monthly, your ECAMS membership will continue automatically after the Commitment Period end date at the fee rate applicable to your membership type and category of membership at that date, but subject to termination in accordance with these terms.
6. Payment:
All payment for membership is due in advance as follows:
Annual Payment: Payment in full before the commencement of membership.
Monthly Payment: A monthly payment made each month for 12 months, with the first payment to be made in advance of commencing membership, and with subsequent payments to be made on the corresponding date each month thereafter
A minimum of 12 monthly payments are required before this contract may be terminated. Once you have completed the 12 monthly payments you can cancel your automatic renewal payments anytime by contacting ECAMS customer care and giving 30 days notice in advance. You should not cancel your payment mandate with the bank until the final months payment has been drawn.
Annual membership payments purchased are non-refundable.
7. Membership Renewal:
Annual membership is renewed for one year by payment of the membership fee in full in advance.
At the end of the first 12 months of membership, you may prevent automatic renewal at any time by giving 30 days’ notice in advance to the ECAMS customer care team. You should not cancel your payment mandate with the Bank until the final months’ payment has been drawn.
A member whose membership is terminated shall forfeit all the benefits of the membership with immediate effect, there will be no entitlement to refund of any membership charges already paid.
Discounted and special promotion prices will not be applicable for a membership renewal unless stated.
A member who has a lapse of membership of fewer than 12 months will have to reinstate their membership status. Reinstatement would require the member to pay for the unpaid period.
A member who has a lapse of membership for more than 12 months will have to revert back to the original membership fee and will be taken as a new membership for that year.
ECAMS Fellowship

3. Our quotation to you
Please note that all quotation is valid for only 30 days and it is by no means a legal binding contract.
The purchases of the hands-on courses’ the terms and conditions will still apply (to read more, under this page please click on “ECAMS Hands on Courses”).
A deposit between €1000-€2000 (depending on the type of fellowship) will apply. Payment of the deposit is a commitment to complete the fellowship programme.
The quotation may be accepted to lock down the fixed discounted amount against the course fee published on the website. Please note course fee might be changed due to economic adjustment. However it forms a formal binding contract to secure your fixed discounted amount based on the following.
- Signature on quotation form and payment of the fellowship deposit in this quote prior to the expiration date.
4. Your fellowship deposit
Fellowship deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable. The deposit will be used to offset the final stage payment of your fellowship course/clinical mentoring fee.

- If you had already availed to any of the hands-on courses using the fellowship discounted fee, regardless of the number of courses you had availed to, your deposit will be refunded and it is considered as used on those courses you had attended based on the standard early bird fee.
- If you have NOT yet started any online or hands-on courses, then you we will credit the deposit paid back into your account and you can use it on your next purchase.
- Please note that all online and hands-on course fee are subject to changes.

- Model selection
ECAMS work with Local Responsible Doctors where our trainings are held in their local facility or clinic. We occasionally offer opportunities for live models to participate in our live-model training sessions.Please note that your suitability as a model will be determined by the Local Responsible Doctor and ECAMS contracted trainers.The Local Responsible Doctors and the trainer retain the right to limit or restrict model appointments in situations where there are excessive or unreasonable short-notice cancellations or Did Not Attend, or when a patient’s expectations are deemed unrealistic and therefore unsuitable for a training environment.ECAMS requires live model to sign a release document prior to your treatment. Please read through the document carefully. - Treatment Fees
As a live model at our trainings, the Local Responsible Doctor may require you to pay for the treatment fee either at no cost or at a reduced cost.This fee will be dealt with directly by the Local Responsible Doctor and it may vary depending on the type of procedure, its location, and other factors related to the treatment.Advanced payment may be required to secure your participation for both local and international participating models. On occasion, in order to confirm participation, Local Responsible Doctors may require models to make payments through ECAMS.It is imperative to acknowledge that this payment is not intended as a revenue for ECAMS, nor does it denote ECAMS assuming responsibility for the treatment received. Any payments made through ECAMS will be reimbursed to the Local Responsible Doctor responsible for the training procedure.In such cases, models may choose to pay for their treatment through cash, credit/debit card, or bank transfer.
In the event that a surgical or non-surgical procedure must be repeated, whether due to complications or the failure to meet the model’s desired results, the model agrees to bear the cost of the facility, consumables, products, and medical support staff fees at cost for any subsequent procedures required during the next training session.
The models further understand that in the event of an unforeseen complication arising during a surgical or non-surgical procedure, their safety is of utmost importance, and as a result, the desired results may be compromised.
Any additional costs resulting from such complications are the sole responsibility of the model. All additional cost should be dealt with directly with Local Responsible Doctor.
- Follow up
The Local Responsible Doctor bears the responsibility for all post-treatment follow-up and aftercare. Participants are advised to consult with the Local Responsible Doctor to obtain necessary follow-up instructions.In some instances, the Local Responsible Doctor may coordinate with ECAMS to communicate follow-up details.
